Research Uptake and Communication Officer
Description

The Research Uptake and Communication Officer will manage and implement communication strategies to effectively disseminate ARK Foundation’s research findings. The role focuses on social media, stakeholder engagement, digital communication, and research uptake to increase visibility and impact.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and update ARK Foundation’s website and social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, X)
  • Draft blogs, op-eds, briefs, and other written content to highlight research findings
  • Track and analyze engagement metrics to refine communication strategies
  • Maintain and update project documents, forms, and communication materials
  • Develop and implement a Research Uptake (RU) strategy
  • Liaise with research teams and translate technical findings into accessible content
  • Build relationships with media outlets to secure coverage
  • Facilitate communication with donors, partners, policymakers, and stakeholders
  • Organize outreach events, workshops, and webinars
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Journalism, Social Sciences, Communications or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in communications or research uptake (non-profit/research preferred)
  • Strong writing and editing skills in Bengali & English
  • Proficiency in social media management and digital communication tools
