Intervention for Mothers in Pregnancy to Reduce Exposure to Secondhand Smoking (IMPRESS) is the study aimed to culturally adapt, and then evaluate the effectiveness and cost effectiveness of evidence-based strategies to reduce second-hand smoking within homes in peri-urban area of Bangladesh.
A paper has been published based on qualitative findings from the first phase of the study done in India and Bangladesh.
A pilot trial of a multi-component intervention is being conducted under the project.
