Marhouba Khan Asfi, an emerging researcher, is committed to using evidence-based approaches to address pressing health challenges. She is currently working as a Research Assistant at ARK Foundation, where she applies her strong analytical and organizational skills to diverse research projects. Marhouba earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Health Economics from University of Dhaka, where she developed a solid foundation in research design, data analysis, and scientific communication. Her experience includes conducting strong literature reviews, handling complex datasets, cleaning and managing data in R and STATA, and producing clear and concise inferences that can be helpful in implementing policy decisions. Her research interests lie in public health and health economics, with a focus on topics such as health financing, health systems strengthening, access to primary healthcare, health equity, and the economic evaluation of public health interventions.
Marhouba combines technical skills with a deep commitment to ethical research practices and rigorous methodologies. Through her dedication, she continues to build her expertise in health economic and public health research and aims to contribute to impactful projects that improve community well-being and promote sustainable health solutions.
