About Me

Dr. Nasiruddin Ahmed, advisor of ARK Foundation, is the former Chairman of the National Board of Revenue. He also served as the Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission and Chairman of the Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board. He is currently working as a Member of the Advisory Committee on NBR Reforms and serves as Senior Policy Advisor at the International Growth Centre, London School of Economics (LSE).


Dr. Ahmed holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Sydney, Australia, and a Master's in Public Sector Management Training and Development Economics from the American University, Washington, D.C., USA. He has authored a number of papers in economics published in international journals such as Applied Economics, Applied Economics Letters, Public Administration and Development, Indian Economic Review, Tobacco Control, Tobacco Induced Diseases, and BMC Public Health.
