About Me
Sirat-E-Rowshan Islam is a Research Uptake & Communication Officer at ARK Foundation. She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Anthropology, where she developed a strong foundation in qualitative research, social analysis, and development communication.
Previously Sirat has completed internships at BRAC and the Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS), where she gained hands-on experience in communication management, qualitative research, stakeholder engagement, content development and event coordination. She has field experience working with diverse and vulnerable communities across Bangladesh, which strengthened her understanding of social dynamics, public needs, and inclusive communication. Sirat has contributed to program support, youth engagement initiatives, and blog/report writing across development and research settings.
Deeply passionate about research communication, evidence-based advocacy and social impact, she aims to bridge research with community voices and policymaking — ensuring knowledge reaches people who need it most. She is committed to a people-centric communication approach, ensuring that information flows clearly and respectfully; making research insights understandable and meaningful for diverse audiences.
