About Me
Tamima Ahmed is currently working as a Research Assistant at ARK Foundation. Previously she worked as a full-time Research Intern at ARK Foundation from April through September 2024. She completed her graduation and post-graduation in Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies from the University of Dhaka. During her internship, she worked for the COSTAR project where she excelled in her expertise in report writing, transcribing, and database management in SPSS. Tamima has prior experience of internship at the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief (MoDMR) where she performed a qualitative study (KIIs, IDIs, FGDs) on the Social Safety Net Programmes (SSNPs) projects (TR, VGF and GR) of Mirzaganj, Patuakhali. She completed her quantitative thesis research in Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) surveying adolescent school girls from Gangachara and Pirgachha, Rangpur. With the mentorship from her co-workers, Tamima believes she can go a long way in public health research.
