Project Description

ARK Foundation conducted a study supported by University of York, UK titled “Evaluation of Tobacco Dependence Measures of Smokeless Tobacco (ST) users in Bangladesh”.

 

This was an 18-month project which aimed to evaluate psychometric properties of the Oklahoma Scale of Smokeless Tobacco Dependence (OSSTD) among Bangladeshi smokeless tobacco users, and to identify underlying constructs and processes that explains dependence among smokeless tobacco users.
