ARK Foundation, Bangladesh is urgently seeking Research Assistants and Senior Research Assistants for the NIHR Funded SCIMITAR-SA Randomized Control Trial Project dealing with a Tobacco Cessation Intervention for Severely Mentally Ill individuals.
Number of Positions: 2
* One position based at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Dhaka
* One position based at the Country Research Office (ARK Foundation, Road 109, Gulshan 2, Dhaka)
* Conduct field activities, including data collection, data entry, and data management.
* Assist in drafting various reviews, such as literature reviews, desk reviews, scoping reviews, and systematic reviews.
* Prepare ethical approval documentation for new studies, including translation and transcription, as required.
* Assist in drafting academic articles, research reports, policy briefs, concept notes, and other relevant documents.
* Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications.
* Support liaison activities with stakeholders and donors.
* Coordinate with the communications team to develop relevant materials.
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Health Economics, Economics, Public Health, Psychology, Development Studies, Sociology or other related social sciences.
* For Senior Research Assistant position, 1 to 3 Years of relevant experience in research-oriented fields. Freshers are encouraged to apply for the Research Assistant position.
* A strong desire to learn and pursue a research-oriented career in public health.
* Strong writing, communication and presentation skills.
* Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
* Proficient communication skills (written and spoken) in both Bangla and English.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Suite.
* Willingness to perform field-based activities.
* Strong problem-solving abilities, time management skills, and teamwork.
Gross Salary: BDT 25,000–35,000 per month (depending on experience, qualifications, and the position offered).
