Prof. Tajul Islam is a highly experienced public health professional with over 30 years of expertise in maternal and child health, quality improvement (QI), HIV/AIDS, and non-communicable diseases. He has worked extensively with WHO, UNICEF, UNFPA, ICDDR,B, and Save the Children, leading large-scale national and international programmes. He has played a central role in designing and implementing public health interventions, establishing quality improvement systems, and developing operational guidelines at scale. He has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor for nearly two decades.

Dr. Merina is a senior public health specialist with over 30 years of experience in immunisation and maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH). She has contributed extensively to national policy development, large-scale programme implementation, and strengthening equitable health service delivery. Through her work with UNICEF and collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, WHO, and Gavi, she has led major immunisation initiatives, supported health financing, and guided emergency responses including COVID-19 vaccination and dengue control.

Prof. Rumana is a distinguished health economist and public health systems expert with over two decades of experience across academia, national policy, and international research. Her expertise lies in health financing, budgeting, and resource allocation, with extensive contributions to Bangladesh’s health sector planning through collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, WHO, and global partners including the University of Leeds and the University of York. She has played a pivotal role in developing key national policy frameworks such as the Sector Investment Plan (SIP) and Programme Implementation Plans, and has led and contributed to multiple large-scale research and implementation projects funded by WHO, DFID, NIHR, and MRC.

Prof. Shah Monir is a distinguished public health leader with over 40 years of experience in national health system leadership, medical education, and international collaboration. As former Director General of Health Services, he has contributed significantly to strengthening health systems, advancing quality standards, and developing the national health workforce. He has worked with international organisations including WHO and FAO and served as a visiting professor in public health. He is also Chief Editor of the Bangladesh Medical Research Council journal and an active leader in national public health forums.

Mr. Azdi is a public health professional and mixed-methods researcher with over 14 years of experience across immunisation, MNCH, TB, mental health, and digital health systems. His work focuses on bridging the gap between project design and real-world implementation, with strong expertise in managing field operations, data systems, and multidisciplinary teams. He has led and contributed to complex projects involving programme design, clinical trials, large-scale evaluations, and digital health platforms, working closely with government systems and international partners.

Ms. Samina is a public health professional with over a decade of experience managing complex research and development projects across Bangladesh and South Asia. She specialises in monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, and coordinating large-scale multi-country interventions. Her work spans tobacco control, antimicrobial resistance, and health systems strengthening, with strong experience in mixed-methods research and field implementation.
