The WHO report highlights that with most of humanity now living in cities; health-oriented, sustainable urban development is no longer a choice but a necessity to ensure equity, resilience, and well-being of urban population.
ARK Foundationโs work in strengthening urban primary healthcare in Dhaka was showcased as a case study for its innovative use of the Simple App, a digital tool improving noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) data collection, reporting, and evidence-based decision-making.
In collaboration with the CHORUS consortium, this initiative demonstrates how local innovation can drive global lessons for healthier, more resilient cities.
