Managing change or change management is an inevitable part of any organization.
Health sector, like any other organization, also faces continuous changes, which take place in the form of policy change and health sector reforms. Since independence Bangladesh health sector has undergone various changes mainly due to changes in its objectives. However, these changes could not bring expected or targeted results mainly due to inefficiency in managing change. Effective management of change is essential for the sector, and ignoring this aspect is making objectives unfulfilled and resources unutilized. This paper is an attempt to aid the health managers to better manage the health sector so that they take out the desired results as planned.
