ARK Foundation participated in multiple segments at the International Conference on Urban Health (ICUH) 2025, Wellington, New Zealand. An abstract titled 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬: 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐔𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐚, 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡, presented by Fatema Kashfi, was proudly accepted at the conference.
This research highlighted community perspectives on navigating urban primary healthcare in Dhaka, emphasizing how local realities, cultural contexts and lived experiences shape healthcare choices and access, and why community-responsive approaches are critical for equitable urban health systems.
